Our objective is to turn your quality items into cash as fast as possible and at the best price. We will help you evaluate your items for consignment and will accept those items we believe will sell. 

Prices are based on supply and demand, condition, quality and original retail price.

A signed Consignment Agreement will be required for all items offered for consignment sale, subject to below terms and conditions.

This Agreement begins on the Consignment Acceptance Date and Consignment Form is signed. This Consignment Agreement constitutes the total agreement between the parties.

There is a minimum 60-day initial consignment period that might extend every 30-day period or until an item is sold, upon initial agreement between consignor and consignee and if noted on the consignment  agreement form. 

This Agreement covers the item(s) listed on the inventory agreement signed at intake. 

Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments  is not responsible for loss against fire, damage, theft, or loss of any kind which may impact the value of an item. 

Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments will take exceptional care of the articles you consign, however, merchandise is yours until sold. You may want to notify your insurance carrier that these items are on consignment. Theft and damage can occur to consigned items and the Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments is not responsible for this loss. Our liability will be limited to making appropriate and timely payment to you for any of your items that we sell during the consignment period. 

As the consignor, the undersigned acknowledges that all items presented is personal property to sell and are free of all liens and encumbrances. 

The Asking Price of an item is set at the research & discretion of Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments.  

The price of an item might be reduced based on the amount of time an item remains in the store. 

We typically reduce 10-20% off the asking price each 30 day period. 

Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments reserves the right to further negotiate pricing of an item on a case-by-case basis. 

Reasonable offers will be accepted for consignments at any time while in the possession.

Unless agreed on otherwise in writing, at 90 days the initial consignment period will expire. Items must be picked-up within 10 days of the expiration date, or any unsold consigned item remaining at Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments will become the property of the Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments. 

The Consignor will be given a 10-day grace period from day 90 as noted to remove an item from the store. After that period, Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments  may dispose of an item in any manner, including but not limited to, the sale or donation of an item.  

Contact the store to arrange a day and time to pick up unsold items. 

Consignors are responsible for bringing their own packing material for fragile items as well as labor to load heavy items.

PLEASE NOTE: that although we try to contact our Consignors of their 90-day deadline, we reserve the right to dispose of items without notice. 

An item may be removed from Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments by the Consignor with prior notification after 30 day period as long as the item remains unsold. 

Proceeds from the sale of an item are typically split 50% to Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments and 50% to the Consignor. 

Pick up & moving fees, if any, are deducted from the first outgoing payment to client. Payments are made to the Consignor on a monthly basis the following month of sale & will be mailed by a check to the Consignors address provided on the Consignment Agreement. 

By consigning with Chernysh Antiques , Fine Arts & Consignments Consignor agrees to the above terms and conditions.o this item.
